My life is empty and hollow, there is no light even when I stand near a lit lamp.

My gaze is empty and my expression is flat, my heart is barren like a desert.

I walked down the crowded street, but I looked at nothing but the straight road ahead.

Until I thought “is there nothing that will give me a reason to keep living?”

Until suddenly I accidentally glanced at the corner of the garden and saw you sitting on the swing with a sweet, happy face, enhanced by the sunlight shining on your face.

My eyes instantly widened, my gaze that was initially empty now regained awareness, my dark eyes shone again, my tired body regained energy, my world… Returned.

I looked at you with a sincere smile for the first time, I saw how you sat on that swing near the beautiful sunflowers, just like your smile.

You truly restored my soul, you became my reason to keep living, with the goal of winning your heart and making you happy so you smile brightly like the warm and soothing sunlight.

You are the light in my life, you… My sunshine
